Googlified

For those of you who run Mac OS and have iPhoto (Like Me!), an interesting thing can be seen… If you open up the iPhoto.app bundle, and then open “localizable.strings” You’ll see a whole load of (what is to me) jargon and mumbo jumbo, but… Look carefully in the image below… That’s interesting isn’t it? There is a GMaps URL which leads here… Interesting, huh?

Another piece of this collaboration can be seen in the top picture. Look where the arrow is pointing… It says GPS Longtude/Altitude/Latitude in the Photo information panel. Are Google and Apple going to make a virtual globe of photos between them? Sounds a bit like Micosoft’s PhotoSynth…
