Doodle: Bastille Day
Doodle July 14th, 2007 - By HaochiGoogle France today celebrates Bastille Day.
Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is called “Fête Nationale” (”National Holiday”), in official parlance, or more commonly “quatorze juillet” (”14th of July”). [Wikipedia]
Google’s been celebrating Bastille Day since 2001, you can find the previous logos here.

This year’s logo is like a fancier version of the 2004 one, both with the Eiffel Tower.
“Bonne fête du 14 Juillet” (thanks Tom) to our friends over at Zorgloob and my French readers. :)
