Google Reader Now Shows Embeded Videos
Google January 30th, 2007 - By HaochiFinally, you can now watch videos from some of the most popular video sharing sites*, including YouTube, Google Video, and Revver, in Google Reader.
When I posted about I saw a video player in Google Reader for the first time last month, some said that it’s always been there and some said that it never work for them.
*The other sites are MySpace, Jumpcut, Grouper, IFILM, Metacafe, Vimeo, vSocial, and games from Monsters and Critics.

I have contacted Mihai Parparita before the annoncement because I noticied something new but really bad. All the Google videos shown in the feeds are loaded even if you didn’t clicked on the button “play”. Not important if there is one or two videos, but when you have subscribed to a Google Video feed, there is at least 20 videos which are loading at the same time, it really slows your internet connexion! It’s really bad, the videos shouldn’t have to be loaded before you click on the button “play”…

I am 100% sure that there’s an option for disabling auto-loading…
