Since Google launched its Web History (covered here), a lot has been talked about user privacy.

Matt Cutts states his personal opinion here in a very interesting blog post.

I agree with him on many points, because why would Google give this data out to anyone? Their success is based on their users, so they certainly don’t want them unhappy.
