Viacom, MTV Network’s parent company, has demanded YouTube to removed over 100,000 unauthorized videos from the site immediately. The videos, according to an outside consultant, has generated about 1.2 billion video streams.

Viacom was frustrated that YouTube has not put in place the video filtering tools that “promised repeatedly by YouTube and Google”.
