Blogger Now Supports Custom Domains
Google January 5th, 2007 - By HaochiThe Blogger Buzz blog says that you can now use a custom domain for your blog on Blogger. Compare to FTP publishing, you don’t need to having web host of any kind (except the free Blog*Spot), all you need to have is a domain, and its DNS which you have control of.
Before doing anything in Blogger’s Setting page, you will need to configure some DNS settings. You can find the instruction here, it’s not that hard for most people*. Once you are done with the DNS settings, you can jump to Blogger’s Dashboard, find the blog you want to move to your domain, click on Setting, then Publishing on the top, and click on “Custom Domain” below “You’re publishing on blogspot.com“. Here you can enter whatever the domain or subdomain you chose when doing the DNS settings. Finally, you can click on “Save Settings” and everything should be working as expect. Otherwise, check whether the DNS settings have updated and start over.
One biggest advantage of Custom Domain over FTP Publish is that you have control over who can visit your blog. I guess that Google will be including Blogger into Google Apps for Your Domain sometime soon.
*This step will probably take a few hours.

I use this new feature with various custom subdomains and domains, and (at least basically) I love it. Anyway, I still hate the navbar, a big obstacle when you want to offer a professional look. It would be really nice if Google offered (or even sold) the possibility of disabling the navbar in blog*spot hosted blogs. (And please, sorry my English!)

I think you are able to disable the nav bar… I will send you an email later today after I found a way how to do it. :)
