microwaved baby is spicy

Eww, Google says that microwaved babies are spicy… Yuck, it sickens me…

I bet Google didn’t expect that coming with their labels of Hotness in the new Google Trends.

Site Meter or Google Analytics

Analytics, Oops

sitemeter home page google analytics

For some reason I was on the home page of Site Meter today, and guess what I saw: their new design featuring a screen shot of a chart from Google Analytics! (as you can see above) Isn’t this interesting? :)

I don’t use Site Meter, so correct me if I am wrong…

Google is Broken, Again

Blog, Checkout, Oops

google checkout weird result hibidder

Starting earlier today, when you search “Google Checkout” on Google, the first result is titled “use google checkout on hibidder com free“. A bit weird, don’t you think? (from the normal “Google Checkout”) Well, this is where Danny Sullivan comes in and explains to you what’s going on

Also, Ionut spotted some really random suggestion errors on Google Blog Search…

Google’s Broke

Oops

Google is broken.

If you subscribe to the Google Analytics Blog, you will know that most of the posts this month are either about Google Analytics will be having a “routine maintenance” or having report delays. Not saying that Google can’t have maintenance, but why so often? Even the folks at Ask.com made fun of it.

Interestingly, one user report that Google Calendar’s got a quota limit. Congratulation, you’ve reached the End of the Internet. (by the way, they canceled the planned maintenance for Google Calendar)

Google autoSync failed
Sync with Google failed:calUserID:8768 sync() error. Google ServiceException:com.google.gdata.util.ServiceForbiddenException
message:calUserID:8768 You have hit Google’s quota limit.

Then Google lost many users’ settings for the Google Personalized Homepage and Gmail kept having some depressions (down time) as usual.

It is because…

  1. Things don’t always go as you wish they would
  2. Eric Schmidt unplugged the plug on the Google servers
  3. Or… (tell me what you think)

Gmail: Oops!

Gmail, Oops

gmail account disabled

The Consumerist reports that Google has “accidentally” disabled a large amount of users’ accounts while attempting to “target a large network of spammers to keep them out of the Gmail system and keep your inbox free from spam”. Now they are “re-enabling these accounts as quickly as possible”.

Not the first time, Google, a wise man don’t repeat the same mistake.

UPDATE: You can report your access errors here, if you encounter any problem when logging into Gmail.
