Doodle 4 Google My Australia Winners Announced
Contest, Doodle November 29th, 2007 - By HaochiThe Official Google Australia Blog announced the winners of Doodle 4 Google My Australia today. The national winner of the competition is Janelle San Juan, “a 12 year old student from [...] Victoria.” Below is her winning doodle:

Janelle won “$10,000 worth of technology equipments for her school and a MacBook Pro” for herself with this competition. The 32 finalists were all invited to Sydney and they have taken a group picture which you can find here (wearing t-shirts with their doodle design on).

It`s amazing, don`t get me wrong.
But I think that something better
or more deserving should have won.

i think it really does capture australian culture. Everything that she has included in her google really shows you what australia is about. I think Janelle really deserved to win. welldone!!

I think its great but they shuold give you somthing why is everything you win always for school its so anotying they didnt do anything to win it did they…

Janelle used to go to my old school (good shepherd) and i had no idea she was this artistic.
Her work really shows the spirit of Australia and i think she deserved to win.

I love what you have made! I agree that it captures Australia alot! I am doing doodle 4 google this year and really enjoy looking at the past winners to try to capture what they did in my way of doing things!
