Fifth of May is also Cinco de Mayo, “a national, but not federal, holiday in Mexico which is also widely celebrated in the United States”, but obviously “Google Doodles doesn’t care about Mexican people“.

in puerto rico we celebrate 5 de mayo drinking only corona for this week (corona = mexican beer)
