Earliest Mention of Google?
Fun April 9th, 2007 - By HaochiNot 1859, but probably in Theatre, a publication from 1828. Google was used as a person’s name.

In June 28, 1842 edition of Huron Reflector (registration required), Google was used as sound of “geese-gabbling”.
“… is mere geese-gabbling; jab-jabber, google-google …”

Yep, that clearly says Googie not Google. compare the other i’s and l’s in the doc and you’ll see. Or be a total geek like me and download the image and zoom in :-)
