The hiring process at Google has a lot of mystics, but it's actually very simple.

You apply for a job at Google, and be contacted by one of the recruiting team, who tells you what to expect, what it is like to work at Google.

Likely for most people to start with a phone screen, and this will be anywhere from 30 to 45 minute conversation with somebody who is in a similar role. From that, if it goes well, we tend to have another phone screen to get more information or we like to have somebody come on site to do an interview here, our Google facility.

Generally we have 5 interviews in one day. ---- in 4-5 minute ----

That day is compare to a very difficult exam at the university to a great day of exchanging thoughts and ideas with like-minded individuals.

Basically what we tend to do is really test people's problem solving ability and the field we are recruiting for. So what we tend to do is give candidates questions related to their area and how they solve the problem in real time.

What's important to know here is that it is not necessary a question you get your answers right or wrong, but the process which you that you use in order to solve these problems 'cause creativity is very important at the company.

At Google, everyone is very involved in the hiring process and therefore try to coordinate a lot of schedules takes time as well as we making enough time to see how a candidate did whether it was phone screen or on site. In general, we try to move as fast as possible to make sure you are not waiting or wondering "How did I do?"

The people I have interviewed with are ....

It's more like chatting than like real interview so I had a lot of fun.

I actually sat at the same table with Eric Schmidt and Larry.

The more I work at Google the more excited I got.

It gives you a lot of opportunity to meet a lot of people across the team and different team as well. So when you do start here, you have a really good idea that this the job for you, you are confident with the choice you have made. And you also got to meet a lot of people and know their faces on the first day.
