Finally, Google Reader Has Search
Reader September 6th, 2007 - By HaochiAfter months of waiting, we finally have the searching feature for Google Reader! I am sure that you don’t need me tell you how use the search feature, but I would like to point out that you can choose a specific tag/subscription from the drop-down list for search and there are permalinks for the searches.
They have also added a couple minor features the day before.
Sweet.

The search drop-down is actually mildly more than what it seems. If you click in the center, you can type in a tag/subscription/whatever, and it will update the list according to what you type.

Searching my feeds is a great feeling :D
Btw, i think there also is a bug with the update, the feed syndication thingies don’t work anymore. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon, i have a hole in my website! :D

I’ve benn using google reader since last december and I’m very pleased with the fresh search feature. Everyone has been claiming it for a long time. It was really weird why a google product lacked of this essential feature. And thst’s the subject of my comment… does anyone know for sure what was the issue with reader and why it took so long to add the search feature? There must be somemithing weird out there… Thanks a lot for giving us the possibility of searching though.
