Get Your Reader Inside Gmail
Google October 13th, 2006 - By Haochi
Googler Mihai Parparita created a Greasymonkey script that adds a “Feeds” in Gmail’s menu. When clicked, Reader’s List View will start loading on the right. He did not say anything about whether Google will integrate these two products, but if it does, it will “require a lot of effort before you can even determine if they are worthwhile”.
If you don’t have Greasymonkey installed yet, you can download it here for Firefox or learn more about how to use Greasymonkey script in Opera here.
Another great tool Mihai made is “Google Reader Search“, which enables you to search public feeds, a feature Google Reader lacks.

That is absolutely a close to perfect integration of GMail and GReader
Tag integration and similar interface and its perfect.

Maybe they should add a little link[standard with Reader] at the bottom of Gmail, like this…

That will take longer to load the page(larger download size). No wonder why Mihai said, it “require a lot of effort before you can even determine if they are worthwhile”.

great work!
but to make this script really perfect, there should be a little rss-icon on the right of the link. and changing the page title would be great!
