Google Conference Bike
Googleplex, Image of the Day June 21st, 2007 - By HaochiIt looks like that Google bought a couple of those “Conference Bikes” recently. It looks fun to play with, but I wonder how safe that bike is. Has anybody rode one before?
UPDATE: Googler Kynan Dent has more detail…

The Conference Bike (aka, CoBi) is so impressive I just had to buy one - and you can now rent it! Just so long as you’re somewhere near Glasgow ;o) Earlier this summer I brought the first CoBi to Scotland, and it has been an extremely popular attraction in Millport - on the island of Cumbrae, in the Firth of Clyde.
Over the Autumn / Winter months the CoBi will plying the streets of Glasgow and beyond, so get in touch if you want the experience of riding this unique mode of transport.
For further information regarding availability and prices, call Mick on 00447791024562 (or email: info@cumbraecycling.co.uk)
You know it makes sense… :o)

Been there, done it - and definitely recommend it!!!
The Conference Bike / CoBi is just unbelievably great fun, and our encounter with this amazing cycling invention was so unexpected, because we had gone to Millport for a charity sponsored walk! Everyone was so impressed that we’re now planning to hire it for our next staff ‘away-day’. Once you’ve been on the CoBi, you won’t know whether to laugh or cry – and you’ll probably do both ;o)
It’s cool - and it’s definitely hot…!?!
