Several blogs today reports that Google has pulled the links to MapQuest and Yahoo Maps in the OneBox result for Maps on the result pages which they used to display. Now when you search a place, or an address, the OneBox result for Maps will display a road map of the city, and a “Get directions” form if you search for an address.

However, Google has not remove the links on the OneBox results for Finance, they are still linking to Yahoo Finance, MSN Money, MarketWatch, CNN Money, and Reuters. Of course, Google Finance is by default for the title link.

Update: On Google’s Search Feature page, it still says “When Google recognizes your query as a map request, we’ll return links from Google Maps and other high quality map providers that will lead you directly to the relevant map”. So, where are the “other high quality map providers”?
