Google Finance Blog
Blog June 20th, 2007 - By HaochiGoogle launched another official Google blog today - Google Finance Blog. Nothing so special about this one, because it is “Just Another Google Blog“.
This is how we want to communicate with the community of people who need financial information at their fingertips. We’ll write about new features, share observations about new tools in the financial industry and get your feedback about new releases.
Recent data shows that Google creates blogs at about the same rate as they acquire companies. While creating blog is next-to-free for them, acquiring a company is no free lunch.

If I wasn’t watching “House” at TV last night, I’d be able to sent you this scoop ;-) ^^

I think bug report … When Google finance portfolios are displayed on my igoogle page, the total number ( I assume this is supposed to be change on value on the day ). Is not the same as when I actually go into the portfolio. Oddly one of the stocks is randomly admitted. Specifically + 500 shares of skf +700 shares of sds, +5273 shares JPM - I get a days gain today of $937.91 on the Google Finance page, which is about right. However, when I go to my igoogle home page, I see a total of -2595, which is omitting a progit of about $3500 on the JPM. It’s obvious enough to catch, but annoying.
