Google Health Screenshot Leaked
Health August 14th, 2007 - By HaochiScreenshots of the upcoming medical record management program Google Health, have been leaked to Google Blogoscoped. The project was previously code named under the names “M Scrapbook” (Medical Scrapbook) and Weaver.
The program lets you to add medical information, such as the medications you are taking, your allergies and family medical history to your Google Health profile and then they will create a health guide for you to learn more about the health problems you are having, if any, and the suggestive preventive measures and treatments you should be taking.
The Google Health Privacy Policy states that “Any information you enter will remain private. Google will not share it with anyone without your permission.” Also, a disclaimer says that “Be sure to discuss questions about your medical care with your doctor or medical provider before making changes.” and that Google Health is “built in collaboration with Safe-Med.com”.
Currently, http://health.google.com returns “Server not found” and http://google.com/health redirects to the Health section in Google Coop.
Kinda scary but I seriously wonder if Google is really “in bed with the CIA“.
