Googlified

Google yesterday started testing a new navigation link unit on their home page and search result pages. Instead of placing the links above the input area, the new design puts them above the logo, align with the “My Account” and “Sign Out” links.

Tony Ruscoe pointed out that such huge change could confuse users, since Google already has similar style links in services like Gmail, Docs & Spreadsheets and Calendar.

Sure it does.
