Google Transit Available in Japan

Google Transit is now available for users that live in Japan, anywhere in Japan (vs. only a few cities in the U.S.), and is accessible using a cell phone.

Wow, things have changed in the last few months since I left Tokyo. This new Google Transit planner would have saved me a ton of leg-work regerding connecting trains. I used to call JR Tourist Info for advice on how to get to my destination and for the correct times, etc. Good going Google!
