Google University
Image of the Day November 20th, 2007 - By HaochiGoogle University does exist! Too bad it’s only opened to Googlers. Upcoming courses are “The Bicycle Wheel” with D. Pardo and Piaw Na, “Open Source: A Comprehensive History, With Gossip” with Chris DiBona, “Theory and Practice of Cryptography” with Stephen Weis, and “You and Your Voice” with Alexander Newman.

You might want to correct the grammar on the caption to the picture above. “Google University does exists! ” is not a very good add for a “university” unless business English is no longer valued at Google. Other than this, great idea.

Hi,
I’ll be launching Global Google University Jan. 1 2008 in conjunction with a Ph D Lottery awarding Doctorates in ‘ologies’, theoretical ‘ics’ and political science (whatever that is) I took for easy credits 40 years ago.
Lottery tickets can be purchased for $10 CAN each, by donation to The Fraser Institute in Vancouver BC http://www.fraserinstitute.org/ in my name, A Bryan Clifford,to buy me a place in their ‘Founders Circle’ ($10,000) so I can make fun of them in their own publications from an academic point of view, i.e. sanity.
Global Google U. will be, in this sense, a ‘real’ University offering courses in Global Stuff.
Truly,
Bryan Clifford

Re:You might want to correct the grammar on the caption…..
But…. “Google University does exist!” is correct… no need to add an s in ‘exist’ because of ‘does’…

hi guys i was looking for a free online university like MIT’s open course ware, i checked out google code university but the tutorials there are a bit basic and not that comprehensive like it’s just starting out, other than that it’s a nice site.oh yeah, and stop biting each others heads off like exists exist matters as long as you get the message through, creativity failures often try to pass as critics, get off haochi’s back at least he’s trying, bye for now, john
