Google Video Disabled Skipping
Video February 3rd, 2008 - By HaochiIt seems like that Google Video has disabled the feature on their video player which allows viewers to fast forward to a certain part of the video without buffering the video file first. However, YouTube’s video player still has this feature. I wonder if Google will remove that as well. (Possibly not, considering YouTube’s popularity - a YouTube Revolt might ignited!)

IIRC Google Video had this feature at its inception, and only got it [too] long after the acquisition.

It’s a bug and it will be fixed (hopefully soon, as people started reporting it from January 22).
