GOOOOG
Google September 24th, 2006 - By HaochiIf you have Google Desktop installed and running, go to Google.com, click on Desktop, click on index status on the bottom of the page, and then click on Web, and you will see GOOOOG appear in the input box. Why GOOOOG?
Thanks Jason for the tip.

September 26th, 2006 at 5:26 pm
Didn’t expect that, you ended up being here again! Welcome back! :D (Hehe, this is gonna bring me some Google Desktop users.)

This is Jason again. I just wanted to let you know that you can take any information from my site for yours just as long as you give me credit. My site is http://google.man.googlepages.com .
October 2nd, 2006 at 5:51 am
Thanks, the Google Man. :D
October 11th, 2006 at 3:03 pm
Yeah i ended up here the same way. So why does it appear?
October 11th, 2006 at 4:01 pm
My webpage http://goooog.co.nr describes how “GOOOOG” appears in the others Google searches reached from the index page.
October 12th, 2006 at 1:48 pm
Hmm that’s interesting. Why does it appear though? I would definitely be interested in finding out.
October 12th, 2006 at 1:55 pm
Well, that’s the link Google gives when you load to that page… But the question is why Google choose “GOOOOG” and not “Google” or “GOOG”.
October 18th, 2006 at 7:34 am
Maby it’s an easter egg?
October 18th, 2006 at 1:11 pm
Trick & Treat! The GOOOOG candy. :D
October 29th, 2006 at 9:23 am
Let me do numerology of the word GOOOOG. In Numerology G number is 7, seven represents change, it also represent writen comunication. So the representation of G with Google goes very well as Google provide the best service in the search engines. O represents the number 6 the which is very refined and artistic and luxurious number. Google main concern is to provide the optimised service at all time. so the O goes will with their name. Now if we totall this GOOOOG we get 7+6+6+6+6+7 the total comes to 38 the which we get it total which comes to 2, two is the number of masses the comoman persons thats why this GOOOOG comes, this is the primary key of the Google.
October 29th, 2006 at 11:21 am
I don’t really get it… Where does the 2 comes from??? From 38?
October 29th, 2006 at 12:05 pm
Number 38 if we add 3 + 8 we get 11, if we further add 1 + 1 we get 2, two represents Mind, emotions, and humans are called humans due to their emotions and mind that is why the number 2 is the number of humans. since 2 represents Moon, you can see that moon is constanlty changing shapes and in this web world there is always movement. every name has some background if the name goes well with its basic nature it is bound to get sucess as the Google has got the sucess. Oh, no wonder I am not a numerologist… Can I post your analysis?
October 30th, 2006 at 1:09 am
Yes you can post my analysis

oh, please, numerolo g, religions, beliefs, spirits flying in the air as I just don’t care! Anyway, did you know it’s 2006? not middle ages! And don’t forget, you are on google, and they didn’t find those pretty cute and smart algorythms with “NUMEROLO “G”.Reine Dedeurwaerder, reined at gmail dot com.KISSES TO YOUR KEYBOARD!

GOOOOG ?? I think it’s a coding leftover or something I always have these sort of things in my code :). I can emagine the when you work at google that one after a while typing google is a lot of work so you shorten :P GOOOG
November 9th, 2006 at 2:01 pm
If I would shorten Google, I will choose GOOG(2 Os) instead of GOOOOG(4 Os).

Very funny to read all these things… But you know, the main goal to me seems to be to make people chat about google, on a site where you get when you do some tricks, as we call easter eggs, and as they exists to mystify people finding them usually… Kepp on speculating people, but there is nothing like laughing at funny things, and for some of us, losing time giving some sense to such a joke… I’ll be pleased to learn I’m wrong, really ;)

You might be right. Google knows how to get attentions.

GOOOOG is a Desktop Code Interval Alphabeticnumeral Application Serial Number, or DCIAASN (pronouced DIC-AS-SIN).
See if you can hack into the application, and there you have it: Goo00G. Split it in the middle, and you get:
Goo: Google Inc. Trademark
00g: Desktop’s Google-patented number.
So, it’s GOOOOG
I bet no one has an understanding about this, maybe it’s coincidence. Hope it helps everyone.

No Google Search Results for: DCIAASN and Desktop Code Interval Alphabeticnumeral Application Serial Number, is there a web site for it?
November 23rd, 2006 at 7:26 am
Sorry, I just found it inside the application, and you need a weird program to do this for you. I recommend you don’t, because it’s in Simplified Chinese. The program is really hard to understand, and this program is sent by a spammer with the name “Hack-Applicator”, and it’s in my Gmail, I don’t know why. Luckily, it isn’t a virus. I deleted it before I post the message above yours.
About the program, it’s absolutely a code-breaker thingy. All the letters are in one same word, “é·«”, if you can see it. The word is a rare character, so there’s no meaning for it, since I can’t find it in the dictionary. I suppose it’s a name…

Anyway, did you check out my documents? It’s in alpha version, so I suppose I should get some comments, or something…

Sorry, I don’t know why I get [AD]s tag. Guess it’s the program itself. I believe it’s someone else using a backdoor connection something, any help?
[AD]
Where’s my hyperlinks?

November 23rd, 2006 at 8:00 am
Oops, I though they are ads(as you quoted them in [ad])… Well, I checked out both of them… Are they game cheat sheets? (CS and … forgot the other one…)
I don’t think it’s WP’s problem, but I will find it out… Thanks for reporting the bug. :D!
Is it a program like XN Resource Editor? Sounds like alota fun… yummy. By the way, I do speak Chinese(Simplified and Traditional, Cantonese and Mandarin)…

IM CURIOUS TOO!!!
December 21st, 2006 at 10:55 pm
… i got here just as most of you… i just installed google desktop and voila! i got the GOOOOG in search input box :P
December 29th, 2006 at 9:15 am
Sorry for the long wait time.
I can’t find it anywhere. Just so that you know, I believe that either the program is a joke, snug, spammer, or intended to be funny. I don’t know.
Anything about it is definitely missing. I’m totally lost for that information. I hate to hack it again, that is getting me into trouble.
And the CS sheet. It somehow links to a sheet of document. Then, as I clicked on it, it downloads me a Free Counter Strike Do0o_CS3846, I think. I don’t know why, but it’s fun.
I fixed the ad part by going to the regedit. I found an unusual register, and after I deleted it, the ad is gone forever.
Good thing for the ad to be gone, otherwise you are going to get annoyed. If it caused anything, I will say “I’m sorry” to you, since I was the one to start it and stuff.

It’s fine. :D
Happy New Year to you.
