It’s Been Three Days…

It’s been three days since I have access to my old GrandCentral account (it was locked), but every time I logged into my account, it would say:
Oops! Bear with us as we bring the site back up.
We’ll be back shortly.
Three days ain’t short, my friend.
UPDATE: Now they locked my account again. They are really ticking me off. Yeah, I should send them an email again…

Hmm, are they freezing the site to move to the Google servers. With a service like this it seems necessary to stop the service since you cannot move all data if the data always changes. But you are right - 3 days is definately not short. That will probably be a long weekend for the GrandCentral guys.

I have no problems logging in. What browser/platform are you on?
They’ve discarded the Flash drop down login now so you should be seeing a HTML page with login form to login.

Odd. Ijust got an invite and joined and it worked fine, even with the nightly build of Firefox 3. Maybe it’s an issue with your account. I would contact them.

Why do I get a feeling you are _way_ to harsh on them ?
1) You are using a FREE service, remember ?
2) They are working on it, and you would still wan’t a full access to it ?
3) They ain’t obligated to provide you with the service if they don’t wish to… as… it’s free.
4) I’ts under google now, so surely labels “BETA”… I wonder why :)

Yeah, maybe I am…
But look at this, the company was founded as a paid service, rather than being a (completely) free one.
Quote from a TechCrunch post from September last year, “Accounts created now are free for 60 days (no credit card required) and will cost $25 for 1000 minutes or $15 per month for unlimited use.”
