The Google Street View Cam-Car

This is the vehicle (owned by Immersive Media) that was used to take the ______ (your own description here) photos you see on the Street View in Google Maps.
As you can see in the picture above, the camera is mounting on top of the Volkswagen New Beetle (officially called the Street Level View-Mobile by Immersive Media). The camera, is Immersive’s own, patented camera with 11-lens (Dodece 2360), to capture 360 degree photos.

this is actally creepy. What if all of the sudden, you saw your private beach house( or any other private area), on google maps? thats would scare the crap out of me!!!!!

The car that took pics of my area was a red non-beatle car. I agree with ^. It’s pretty creepy seeing your whole city o_o

I have found my neighborhood and my house, I don’t like the ideal at all. If I had known it was coming down my street taking pictures of my house I would have run out in the street with my baseball bat and beat the cameras of the car. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING ALL OF US!

Ah yes, I recall when they had pictures of these cars as only reflections in tall buildings. Remember how bad ass this feature really was when it hit?? good jorb hamstray.

I think it is pretty cool myself. I went back and looked at many of the homes I lived in as a child in Colorad. Pretty neat stuff. When they get to my city I am mooning the road in the hopes the car catches it and makes it a part of google history.
