ValleyWag: There’s No GooglePhone
Phone October 22nd, 2007 - By Haochi
I have been saying this for as long as I can remember - there’s no such thing as Google Phone, and ValleyWag confirmed it just now, and they got proof.
I (Owen Thomas) overheard a rep from Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, chatting up a vice president at Google. […] And when the Foxconn rep tried to pitch her on getting a contract to make the Googlephone, she replied, flat-out, “We’re not making a Googlephone.” [ValleyWag]
Or maybe she was implying that they are not making a Google Phone, but a whole bunch of them (e.g. millions). I still hold onto my belief though.

I (Kos) overheard that Owen Thomas wants some publicity for his blog therefore writes bullshit like this.
Google would never spend shareholder money and not develop something. All his claims about google fooling Microsoft and all are not true.
And if you just post things like these without thinking for a bit i will stop subscribing to googlified.
Thanks, and let’s welcome the Gphone.

Haochi was just reporting what someone else was saying. Lay off him, and get a life.
And if you post comments without thinking for a bit, don’t.

Well everybody knows they are not making a phone, not like it’s a breaking news. Google has no real hardware infrastructures.
That Google is working on a phone OS is no secret however
