Googlified

Inspired by Matthew Mullenweg’s description about himself , “… According to Google I am the #1 most important Matt in the world…”, I decided to find who are the most famous people with the most common (English) name in the United States. Yeah, it would really interesting. I ran some Google searches using the first five most common names of both female and male from Mongabay.com, and here’s the result.

The most famous:

• Mary - Mary J. Blige, is a three-time Grammy Award-winner.
• Patricia - Patricia Polacco, is the author and illustrator of numerous picture books for children.
• Barbara - Barbara Boxer, barbara is an American politician and the current junior U.S. Senator from the State of California.
• Elizabeth - Queen Elizabeth*, was Queen of England, Queen of France (in name only), and Queen of Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death.
• Jennifer - Jennifer Lopez*, popularly nicknamed J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, and fashion designer.
• James - James Governor, an Industry Analyst with RedMonk.
• John - John Kerry*, is the junior United States Senator from Massachusetts.
• Robert - Robert Scoble*, is an American blogger, technical evangelist, and author.
• Michael - Michael Moore, is an American political-activist, a film director, author, social commentator, and political humorist.
• William - William Hung*, is an American college student and outsider musician.

Of course, I am the most famous, important Haochi on Google. :D
