YouTube Pushes New Design
YouTube October 22nd, 2007 - By HaochiLooks like YouTube has made the previously testing design default. The new version separates “related videos” and “videos from user” into two separate sections, instead of using tabs to separate them, and you can expand and collapse them (they should save the options so when I go to the other page I will still have the same sections expanded/collapsed). Also, the “promoted videos” are moved below them.
“Remember, remember the fifth of November…” I have to see the movie again. :)
UPDATE: Now official.

But they didn’t change the player. I wonder why they have to use so many different players.

The new layouts make the ads (if any) stands out more. There would be this large rectangle right next to the video so that users can hardly miss it. Evil }:-)
